Food –

Wild Flor offers an a la carte menu from which guests can order familiar & modest comfort food alongside more luxury items. Expect always to find terrine, croquettes, slow-cooked meats & simply cooked fresh fish on the menu alongside veal sweetbreads, Iberico ham, rare-breed meats & fine cheeses. Herb crusted rack of Lamb, locally sourced & for two to share features regularly on our special board. For desserts, we do like to bake, be that choux buns or a freshly baked custard tart.

Wild Flor’s wine list mirrors its menu in balancing quality & value. Lesser known varieties sit alongside the finest examples of grapes & blends from around the world. Where our wine list stands out, however, is providing aged wines at good value.

the Team

Robert Maynard, Faye Hudson & James Thomson run front of house operations as owners with many years experience at some of the city & counties most respected eateries. Oliver Darby leads the kitchen team having spent his formative years in senior positions at some of the finest restaurants in Sussex. All four have known each other for many years & share a common enthusiasm for the restaurant experience & bringing all that they love about dining to Hove.
